Zoë Schiffer: Oh. Grok, no.
Lea Feiger: They are like, “There is no reliable support. It’s wrongtribution. It’s so bad. It’s not accurate, etcetera, etcetera. It’s not good.
Zoë Schiffer: I mean, don’t start at this moment to come after many platforms systematically break their programs to check the truth, decide to have a lot of content. And then you add the chatbots to mix mixing when they make hallucinate, when they are disturbing, they do it in a way convincing. You can’t see me here defending Google search. Completely rubbish, nightmare, but it’s so clear when it comes to wandering, if you’re on a random blog than you see a picture of Afghanistan if you don’t have.
Lea Feiger: It’s true. I mean, it’s hallucinating. It’s perfect glamor, but with the swagger with the drunken Boy you never depressed a party in your life.
Zoë Schiffer: Nightmare. Nightmare. Yes.
Lea Feiger: They are both “no, no, no. I’m sure. I’m not sure of my life.”
Zoë Schiffer: Completely. I mean, okay, so why do chatbots give incorrect answers to such trust? Why we haven’t seen it just saying, “Well, I don’t know, so you probably need to check out the rest of the place. Here are some reliable places to seek that answer and that information.”
Lea Feiger: Because they don’t do that. They didn’t claim that they didn’t know, that was more cruel to me. There are actually many studies about this, and a new study of AI search tools in Digital Journalism at Columbit University that cannot answer questions they cannot answer. In fact, actually, wild, especially if you consider many articles during the election about, “Oh no, I don’t weigh in politics.” As you are, well, you have weighed so much today.
