Dubai municipality It is announced to complete the work of development of 2km-long Dubai Creek Wharf in Debi debi.
AED112M ($ 30.5m) costs, the project refers to strengthen quay infrastructure, and strengthening efficiency and appeals to water operations.
Progress is a part of the municipal efforts to preserve the legacy of the river, one of the most important corridors of the Emirate Sea, while supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

By raising the level of quay level and improve the maintenance of the wall, the project supports growing trade volumes and secured safety, efficient ports of vessels.
Acts include increasing wall length to 8.3m and quay entering 200 anchors and 500 ships.
These upgrades enhance the safety of the navigation sea and strengthened the capacity of the river to manage various material and tourism activities.

“This project has strengthened the river paper as a most important property of trade and tourism in the emirate and showing the Dubai company a further pioneering, lasting, and attractive city.
“Comprehensive upgrades are executed using advanced equipment and flexible plans that ensure uninterrupted sea traffic. The Bur Dubai part has been started, 2.3km started.
“When done, acts will give more safety and recovery for Maritime navigation across both sides of the river.”
To improve the flow of water, the couch of the river falls in 17,500 cubic meters, while 24,000 cubic meters of protstrakture stone is set to strengthen the full stone repair.
A total of 22,500 cubic meters of concrete and 1,315 precast blocks are used in the project. The back yard of Quay also contains a 1,200-meter network in the drainage of the rainbow.
Overall, development requires more than 620,000 person hours to complete.
Total side quay area has been extended to 320,000sq ft, consisting of cargo handling cargo and a new public promenade of a space for relaxation.
Despite the rapid development of the whole city, Creek remains an iconic part of the city’s identity and continues to serve as a function, historic destination.
The municipality gives the contract for the project on February 2024.
