I have been related to love for a long time Costa Rica. Of 19 this is one of the first countries I visited outside my homeland (Uruguay And the United States), and I was familiar with CR as my mother studied abroad here in the sun. I spent a lot of months with a little Costa Rican Country and have a particular affection for Nicooa Peninsula – aka the Blue Zone.
I recently had a chance to visit a part of the peninsula new for me, Santa Teresa. This beach beachy beach is a star increase as it is a destination that is actually having all – mountains, cultures, cultures, top-centry experiences. I stayed at the closest beach-front property at the beach, Hotel Nantipaone of the coolest hotels in Santa Teresa. Property opened in 2019 but closed shortly after regulations of COVID-19. It still feels like a new resort. Read for my review of this barefoot of the beachfront luxury oasis which is the ultimate destination of the Pura Vida.
Why is awesome
Nantipa is designed to enter the method of blue zones only natural as it is located within one of five recognized Blue zones in the world. The blue zones are communities with the healthiest and highest known number of centenaries. Even the hotel’s name depends as the nickname means blue in Chorotega, the language of ancient people living in Costa Rica, the chorotalog.
The blue zone of Costa Rica (only one of Latin America) is located in the beautifully covered jungle Nicoya Peninsula Due to low rate after age age. Residents have credited their long life in their “Plan de Vida,” which means causing lives, which gives them a strong sense of high intention – a significant substance of high heights across the zonevity. Nicoyans have longer-average expectations of life because of their daily life full of health benefits such as health, community of loved ones, and a local occasion.
The nicoyans, tropical weather such as hotel tourists are detained at the Pacific Coast. Additional mentality addition to Blue Zone is the meaning of Nantipa intent to be a friendly environmental resident. It only has only six trees cut into the hotel construction process, and compensate many more endemic trees are planted. Those six trees did not go to waste – the tree repurpose to build furniture furniture. Hotel also used solar water heaters and energy sensors.
Nantipa received elite certification levels for lasting tourism in the Costa Rican Tourism Institute which is the highest level of environmental maintenance, Costac, economic approval. Nantipa is a member of the pioneering collection of smallest hotels in the world.
At home food + drink

Dine while your toes are in the sand of Manzú, a top-rated restaurant in the region with sight of the ocean. The restaurant design takes care of the chorotanganan people’s toched huts. This is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served and the menu honored the local blue pecsatarian area in the Blue Zone. The dishes are the plant passed by local vegetable vegetables and legumes as well as freshly caught wild fish. Cocktails are good and imposed by local yield like my personal favorite, beet margarita ($ 11). Five locals caught oysters run you $ 35 and the Costa Rican Classic Snack of Patacones with guacamole, Pico de Gallo, and Bean DIPLS $ 17.
PROMISE

During your maintenance treat yourself to a spa treatment specific to your needs while enjoying the sounds of the forest and the waves slowly drinking the beach. Open-Air Wellness Center uses the local manufactured locally and eco-friendly aromatherrapy in treatments. After your treatment, the practical suggest ways to keep massage benefits such as herbal teas after eating two days, or rest. I love Yumbu deep tissue 90-minute treatment using hot stones and Thai massage techniques ($ 190).
Replace time with at least one yoga class while you’re at the hotel’s hotel. You will practice a rainforest yoga shala that allows the sounds in the wilderness of your flow. Test your ability to disconnect by seeing if you can focus on your breath while monkeys scream and shout.

Types of room

What is the most luxurious part of the hotel is detained what is exclusive to it because of the 29 guest rooms that include suites, walls, and the villals spread at 5.7 hectares. Rooms are sprinkled in front of the property and surrounded by native flower as well as iguannies, monkeys, and butterflies.
I stayed in the wide 800-square-foot manti raised $ 560 a night and attached a breakfast in the La Carte carte. The “Manti” is the Chorotagan word for “wood” and the room lived in its name because it was a Casita surrounded by rainforest. My bungalow has a private garden, a large terrace with a covered cradle, a spit out, and a 10-foot-by-10-ft plunge pool. All pools of property are filled with salt water – including private pools. My room has another bathroom in the waterfall, a large bathroom with two sinks, and a different toilet. The giant lying bed of King-Old facing a complete indoor content for the view of a tropical storm. I love to go to sleep with blinds that are openly left in the soft light in the morning through the floor space windows.
Best thing to do within a 15-minute walk

Since the hotel is detained enjoying a privileged location directly on the beach you can enjoy the long strolls on the wild beach. Grab a bucket from the hotel and take the trash while you walk. You don’t just do a great work by cleaning the beach where you’re lucky to be a guest, but Nantiso also rewards your altruism with free smoothie. Return your bucket with micro-plastic residue brought to tides and sell garbage for a delicious smoothie fruit.
The hotel wins the award in the heart of Santa Teresa. There are many shops in Bohemian clothing, whimsical cafes, and more to enjoy the city. I love getting local souvenir like Costa Rican Chocolate in Green store in the world.
Santa Teresa is a warm place for surfing. You can hire a board and catch the waves yourself or book a system starting with someone who includes all necessary equipment. A surf teacher will go with you all the time and teach you how to go and ride a wave.
The best thing to do / eat / drink within a time drive

- For a memorable evening experience with a bioluminescence tour with Sun Trails. You go to the bay in a boat on a private beach where your guides will make you unlimited Pina Coladas to enjoy sunset at sunset. Once it is dark headboard to the middle of the bay to swim with bioluminescence. The mysterious light is made by organisms by a change in chemical energy in the ocean ecosystems. Your swimming feels through the universe. Borrowing snorkel set to see how bioluminesce glows when you move your body underwater – real mesermerizing.
- Departse baby turtles on the sea – by making it a nonprofit dedicated to storing endangered species. Hotel supports the Cirenas Nonprofit and can organize hatchle hatchery visits. If there are sea turtles born that day that helps you release them to the sea.
Play on the bed

I am a sucker for a hotel bed and have a reason that lives with them inexpensive for more than five years and easily sleeps in more than 1,000 bedrooms. This is one of the best – it’s great and it’s aimed as a warm grown every time I lay in the evening afterwards, but stimulates Santa Teresa. I left the blinds open since my room was private and even wild wild wild animals like goats and monkeys from comforting my bed.

Cause sexiness

There is something about Santa Teresa as a page from a romance novel. I mean, hot homemen days are made for living your swimming, and i’m talking about having a private pool?

Views and pics spots

With forests, beaches, and traditional architecture, it’s hard to find a bad look here. I love snapping pictures on the forest road from my villa in the room and also trying to take the picture of the Howler Monkeys as they do track above. Rooms are odd and worthy of the picture. Who can stop snap a picture while in a cradle?

Best time to visit

I love visiting November. It is not too much to be filled with not the time of the highest, but the weather is perfect as the end of the rainy tail. One night there was a tropical storm one of my perfect favorite things to get used to getting to sleep with the sounds of war during the storm. Temps are beautiful and balmy but not achieved by over 85F – that is also the Pacific Sea temperature.
If I had to complain about something
I wish you had a notice when the maintenance was going to clean my pool or the garden as I had a few times I had a tookel I didn’t have to poop.
