Dubai’s Roads and Authorities in Transport It has begun to grow traffic in 40 locations across the emirate, with scheduled work between June and Sept. 2025.
The program consists of 22 streets, 9 school zones, more than 5 areas of development, and internal roads in District District, Al Khawanaej 2, and Nad Sheba.
RTA Timed the work during summer holidays to reduce the destruction of traffic flowing while safety standards on all sites.

“RTA remains commitment to Dubai infrastructure to continue continuing city expansion, these efforts, travel times, travel areas, education across the city,” Dubai Media Office (DMO) said to a statement.
The next phase includes traffic improvements in Jumeirah Villag Village Fillohan, Ras Al Khor Street, Al Thanya Street, and King Salman Bin Abdulaziz al Saud Street.
The work also happens in Al Meydan Street, Al Mayo Street, Al Asayel Street, and the corner of Al Wasl Street with Al Manara Street.
RTA has created road roads in nine school locations to improve traffic recovery and road safety around education institutions.
Work includes alarqa 1 school complex upgrades and build a bus entrance to Gems School in Al Warqa 3.
Access and exit points around the College College of Al Safa 1 in Sheikh Zayed Road will be expanded, and a Closestrian Crossing signal to Al Stephes Street in Al Barsha 1.
These steps to target adjacent morning and afternoon peak times.
The RTA has implemented traffic solutions in five development zones in response to population growth and economic expansion.
Authority will build a direct route to Al Muhaisnah Labor Camps from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed StRead and upgrade residential communities.
Connecting between Al Khail Road and Al Asayel Street through Al Marabea ‘Street will develop, with the development of Nad Al Harar Junction near the lootah mosquect.
New parking facilities cater to Zayed Educational Complex in IUD Muteena 1.
The RTA will complete the internal roads in the District District, Al Khawanaej 2, Jebel Ali Indi 1, Nad Abeba, and Al Warqa.
Travel paths to be built in Al Quoz Creative Zone to improve pedestrian safety.
