Snakes encenomation remain an intense global burden on the world’s health, especially in the poor, rural, and tropical regions in which health resources are where health resources. Despite more than 125 years of antivenom therapy development, many obstacles include relating to efficacy, correction, cost, and arrival. Concrete antivenoms, although life rescue, is associated with significant disabilities including species specific and poor immunologic reactions. This review explores the historical milestones in Antivenom Development, discusses current therapeutic limitations, highlights novel innovations through biotechnological approaches, and presents a list of ongoing clinical trials that aim to revolutionize the field.
