I’m not afraid of feeling that spending too much time with our phones stole something in person and important from our lives.
It is true that every time is experiencing a crisis about the new tech of tech that destroys people’s souls – otherwise the TV, or the printing of Papyrus, and nostalgia is usually in each generation. But I don’t think the past generations in their own time, in many numbers, to the point they erase the important salient. We feel nostalgic for a world that cannot be restored. As Donald Trump said, now “All is computer“.
With sadness, my nostalgia for an ocean pre-internet is fed on the internet himself: The machine always feeds me clips in the past decades that work unchanged.
