You are right that wealth should pay taxes more fairly (Editorial, 23 May), but the suggested solution from the UK tax deduction you highlight is simpler simple. Taxes that are more than £ 10m sound a good way to prevent pain in the small number of people, so 78% public support. But the experience of other countries is that a super-rich treasure tax is simply not working (IFS has a lot excellent articles on the subject).
Wealth must be taxed more relatively, and equal capital obtained in income tax Be a good start – easy to administer and produce major revenues. Creating a council’s tax fair results in a huge distribution of wealth of wealth. And income in the middle – the largest part of taxpayers – should pay higher taxes.
Its first is only directly in politics – the other should be more uniquely unified together and fair contribution than politicians to do in the current system.

It is angry that the British economy has, as you say, can be “a machine for the upward distribution of wealth” – a dynamic flow to fear of our politics. Although one-in-one contemporary changes cannot explain this volcano of frustration. An awesome amount of inequality remains deeply rooted in the medieval mercenary violence, which we caution is a pattern of land possessions that cannot be changed.
So, of course, as long as our public kingdom is threadbare, target new earnings – rich, but do not forget taxes on real estate (eg land tax). And do not allow the strength and privilege of criticizing our struggling public services while arguing tax cuts for their ilk.

What is the purpose of most British people in favor of a treasure tax if too many unproductive billionaires in the UK and control our benefit? Is it ignorance, fear and splendor that removes the minds of many parliamentary leaders and economists away from justice and decency?
Tax Justice UK is correct. A relatively modest treasure tax can enable practical acts of equality, less for students and staff in addition and higher education. The government should provide moral leadership, and here are policies for meaningful ways.

Your editorial ignores three reasons: The wealth is shortened (it is set aside and less likely to maintain our economy); The inheritance and taxable tax amounts to double taxes (they are major disincentives in creating wealth in which high-spending economies dependent); In terms of the first tax tranche, which in income and in terms of “paying the bills”, the Mainly 1% Pay 30% Income TaxTop 10%, 60% and the top 50%, 90%.
The better public services depend on the inspiration of wealth creation, not its disincenivization.

The fact that we have many builders (and such an essential distribution of wealth) is simply trusted by our political parties, and see their billionaire funds.
