Editor letters: If part of citizenship, we are simply ‘all part of human generosity’

In the Editor: Determination of citizenship is a dilemma of many countries around the world (“Closing birth citizenship generally affects US citizens,” May 20). The US has no exception. In the last few decades, many countries have relaxed the idea that taking citizenship means to be rejected from the country of birth. I have a lot of friends with double citizenship and some whoever even citizens are even three countries. That’s a good thing.

The US current administration as intends to make it more difficult to be part of our country, but the image should go to eliminate boundaries. The fact that a child was born on one side of a river or a mountain as opposed to another should be smaller. Both infants must have similar opportunities. May Xenophobia hear these days will look forward to the concept that regardless of the place of birth, we are all about human race.
