Extremely ‘intensive’ change in Bihar four months before polling

New Delhi: The ‘special intensive change in the election’ of Electoral Rolls in Bihar stirred a great political debate. However, this is not the first time the poll panel has ordered an ‘intensive’ change of electoral rolls – in 2004, with a ‘de-house’ to be home verification in some cases. Bihar 2025- An Extraordinary Case
2025 sir in Bihar is different from many counts. While an ‘Intensive’ Revision usually involves ‘de novo’ exercise, which is flowing into a fresh election election, used by Bihar Sir the 2002-03 electoral roll as a basis to build. Types of changes in the election roll

Intensive Revision: This is usually a de-novo process without reference to the previous existing roll; involves at least 2 visits to vocalization at boot-level officer

Summary change
: The roll is simply updated; There is no house-to-home-house but addressed opposes before the final printing roll

Special Again to Summary: EC can order so if it finds errors or bad scope in any place. EC can adopt changes to the existing method

Party Intensive and Partly Summary Revision: The existing election rolls were published in the draft and checked by home verification and placed through the process of claim / opposing
