I can’t write a list of good cheap games without including Heldlerons 2. This is one of my favorites, Especially playing with friends. When you’re seconds away from extracting off an alien planet, surrounded on all sides by thousands of bugs, with fire, lasers and missiles Raining from the sky and your friends in or yelling at you for inadvertently blowing them, it’s a rush, to say the least.
As a Heldiciver, your work to spread “managed democracy” throughout the universe, ending the threat imposed by giant bugs, and cold, terms like robots.
You only eat for eternal land wars, but to your inevitable death, you will have all the weapons – including many orbital bakers; Automated Turrets; and harmful plagues of napalm – as you want to lose its enemies.
