Values of assets should be hit to solve the crisis of homeless

In the editor: I’d like to see Mitchell Arsdbererg and Gale Holland write more about profession 13 as a cause of city housing crisis (“The real story is how la becomes the center of the homeless American crisis,” July 10). It receives but a paragraph, and preferred only for the hungry local government in funds to deal with homelessness. In fact, the luxurious consequence of Predition 13 is the subscription of owners, allowing them to be with their possessions. By holding the amount of value for tax purposes near the purchase time price, Proposcentivizeri 13 prevents the owners of inventive public inventory.

The crisis of the housing crisis is driven by the prices of the sky-long land, and there is no solution to anything that does not include the valuable amounts of teeth property. Proposition 13 revolve in agreeing to a heavy tax on the present value of the land, especially developments preferred, is the one most efficient way of such an end. If we don’t get ready to watch California real estate market, we’re not ready to solve the problem.
