Investors in foreign Portfolios: FPI flows Rs 1 Lakh crore in 2025 so far; Rs 555 crore pulled in July alone

Within 2025 so far, the flow shows a negative number of Rs 1,00,443 crore, which promotes continuous sales of foreign pressure and February.

In the most recent sign of weakness, Portfolio investors (FPIS) took Rs 555 crore from Equities in India in July to 11th, according to Nsdl data. It marks the first monthly flow after three straight months of positive ones in April, May, and June.

VK Vijayakumar, Chef’s investment strategist Geojit financial servicessaid, “There are signs of FPI dressing weak. After three months of positive flow, the FPI has been negative, even today, even to July.”

He recognizes the most recent trends of the previous heavy bounty in January and February, and said, “The first three months of this year, these FPI flowers cannot be returned in the next three months.”
