UAE Residents can look forward to another period on the weekend December 2025 as National Day approaches.
UAE National Day is Officially marked on December 2 and 3 per year. In 2025, these dates fall on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
While the UAE government has never confirmed any extended rest, residents can expect Monday, December 1 an additional day off, it makes five days end of the week.
If declared, potential rest can start from Friday, November 28, and continue until Wednesday, December 3, for public work schedule on Sunday-Friday Schedule.
It remains unconfirmed, and the final public holiday schedule depending on the formal notice of UAE Cabinet.

What is AAE National Day?
National Day or Ediha a Etihad Commemorates the founding of the United Arab Emirates in 1971, when the rulers of six Emirates-Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al quand, and fujairah-agreed to unite and form a single nation. Ras Al Khaimah joined the Federation afterwards, in the early 1972.
Conditioned under the Cathatician Flag of ‘Union’ Spirit ‘, AAE National Day is celebrated to honor the sight and leadership of the latter sheikh zayed bin Sultan Al Naeder Prower in UAE.
