Ford remembers 200,000 vehicles due to resettlement software to camera

The recall Says a recent discovered software error that can cause restawn cameras to indicate a blank image or even a frozen display image after returning the vehicle.

Ford says the blank image from a researView camera can reduce a driver’s view from the rear of the wheel.

If an image continues to be displayed after being repeated by the vehicle repeatedly, further, the driver can be disturbed.

Both scenarios add to the risk of crashes, Ford said.
