Sebi announces special window for rejected transitions on the part of the physical side

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Wednesday (July 2) announced a decision about moving physical side.

For the adventers of investors, market seller introduces a special window to allow submission to the first rejection of transfer transit requests.

Here are highlights in the market regulator decision:

Investors can now resubmit the acts of transfer rejected before April 1, 2019.

This facility is available for a period of six months – from July 7, 2025, to January 6, 2026.

These securities will only be transferred to Demat (electronic) form.

Listed companies, their registers and transfer agents (RTAS), and stock exchanges are ordered to have spread awareness about this special window.

A dedicated task force can be responsible for monitoring the process, with bi-bully reporting requirements.

Companies should submit monthly Sebi reports during window.

The scale was executed by the immediate effect.
