Legality differences are small and less than aggressive immigration implementation

In the editor: On Monday Los Angeles Times, a letter writer declares that his Latino Houseepeper and Gardener are not afraid of Immigration and Customs attacks that they are legal (“Editor letters: Two readers do not agree to claim racial profiling in ice attacks,” June 27).

In the same issue, there is a story about a male born in Korea also reached here legal and a US citizen (“La Army veteran with purple self recognition in South Korea purely to the threat of expulsion,” June 27). He dismissed himself because he was under threat of expelling due to nearly 20 drug convictions.

There is no doubt that the writer can explain the letter that his householder and gardener do not separate any laws. But that’s going to miss the point.

The point is that in the present climate, if a person of authority chooses that they want your home or gardener or you from the country, they will find a way to do it.

In the editor: OK, I confess that my ancestors are illegal immigrants. They sit here without the permission of the land that is not their own. They deliver fatal diseases that are not found at locals. They claimed refugees, but not registered with anyone, didn’t get a green card and entirely refused to leave.

When did they come? At 1620 with Mayflower. Gee, I may have to drive oneself. I heard good in England this time of year.
