Removal of NHS Eargax should be available at all | Loss and loss of hearing

Your article is about ear health (Get plugs and don’t remove wax at home, 24 June) Did not show the great impact on some people’s life with withdrawal services to NHS Eargax in many places.

Cornwall is one of the country places where you have to pay privately to safely remove the Evenwax. It costs to be more for limited incomes, which causes healing hazardous ways to clear their wax, or go to irregular practicality, or can survive in reducing hearing.

The double whammy is that you can’t get a NHS listening check – and thus listening aids in NHS if you need it – or access to other treatment if you don’t get your own costs. Rnid, the national loss of love listening, publishes a report, Stop the blockThe issue is highlighted.

As your article says, people need good hearing to stay social connected. If there are no good quality social interactions, people can withdraw, be alone, sad and sick.

Withdrawal of many areas of this apparent little edwax removal service has a serious effect on some people’s life. FREE NHS service should be reconciled for all.
