In the editor: Problem with police officers pushing the system for potentially large pay surely supposed to be railed to (“Officers win many fees in ‘LAPD Lottery’ cases,” May 14). At the same time the challenge of the challenges of LAPD cliques (Remember Rampart?), So we know that there is a system where rank and file can call abuses.
