In some Chrysometa Simon, 1894 species collected from Ecuador: C. Bolivia Redescription, description of a new species, and class comments in C. Otavalo (Araneae, Tetregughidae)
Abstract
CHRYSOMETA CHUCHAQUI SP. NOV describes from the valley of the tendal, northwestern Ecuador, based on a unique combination of man’s character and female genitalia. C. Bolivia Levi, 1986 redecedes based on specimens from Ecuador, which provides new information about morphology of these species. Finally, the type of locality in C. Otavalo Levi, 1986 was discussed and suggested a new geroreferenation.
