We have to remember that the use of Drax to burn fresh wood better than coal burning and no planting of any trees (as we used in recent centuries). Drandi A stone step in a low carbon future and should be transferred once alternatives are in place.
I am sad to hear that Canada uses the Firgin Forest to supply the driver. It should be stopped by its government. There are other steps of stones that should be given consideration: “Options in blue” contrary to “gray” or “green” option. Taking carbon and storage (CCS) is likely to be a better blue option than biomass, because co2 removed immediately and not recycled in the air. However biomass is cheaper.
All options should be kept on the table, about to avoid all our eggs in a basket and part to make sure we can be as soon as possible with a speedy possible.
