As a mother of three people living in Wisconsin, Kermenki said he used his DOORDASH income to help pay for his son treatment for type 1 diabetes. He said that “no tax on tips” in the provision of Big, beautiful bill means “thousands of many dollars” for his family and for Jacob’s treatment.
“Every tax season, you know, tips are a big part of our brought as drivers. So paying myself a couple of thousand dollars to go back to the government,” he said. “So, for me in person, it means the opportunity to buy the things he needs and support our family is easier.”

“It’s a great honor to go now,” he said. “It has been there and have one hand and notify the President and the world with no tax on tips, for other families in the United States is very important.”
“I’m really, honored and humbled to be part of the group on the stage,” he added.
