We headed to LA next month for a small job and some meeting with the summer contractor in Zuma Beach HouseWalks on the beach in Malibu, and celebrate the 13th birthday of Phoebe (how much? I want to wear that no hard work and honestly don’t have to wasted at any time to know what to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m going to wear. That’s why I’m wearing. That’s why I’m wearing Haven good inside for this post. Their pieces are my ideal wardrobe to travel to travel: lifted, deeply, unbeatable neutrals that can be mixed and match. There is no overpacking, tireless decision. Only one carry full of easy outfits that make me feel good from morning to night.
Capsule closet strategy: Select a simple color palette and focus it on
Arrive to pack for travel, my golden rule is: Choose a limited colored palette and keep it. For this journey, I keep everyone with a mixture of black, white, and camel to each piece layer beautifully and without feeling overly fussy. I’m a big fan of matching sets for travel, because I love a monochromatic head-to-to-to-sight, and they don’t need any brain power. And if you try not to pack a lot, Mix-and-match is the key.
My packing list:
With these pieces and a pair of accessories, I put 11 outfits that carry me from site visits to the characters of the beach days to the days of the stars.
1. The Camel Sweater is set
This organic cotton set is a real secret weapon for looking chic while feeling I’m wearing pajamas. Become a my go-to travel day outfit, and then tee and pants both work without saying other pieces of my journey. Lightweight knit is shortened enough for the time in LA, and this camel shade gives quiet luxury. I’ll wear it on the plane with sneakers, then match the top of the black pants and black sandals for dinner. The pants are also lounging enough for curling our hotel when nights get heavy.
2. The black gauze button with pants on width leg
This set earned a permanent place in my suitcase. Gandan it is and takes zero space, but looks enough to fit together for client meetings or casual dinner. I’ll wear the full set with gold sandals for a more fashion-y vibe, or break it by pairing the pants in a lunch swim. This garment is also super cute tied with a knot with shorts, or high and obscene as a swimsuit cover.

3. The white ribed tee + shorts of she shorts
Easy, Breezy, and shore ready. I will hand it for the morning walks or while we’re home. But it’s not just a momentary loungewear – Tee tucks perfect in gauze pants or camel pants for casual la vibes ready for lunch.

4. The Black Athleisure Set
This skort and corresponding bra above from Great Haven inside ActiveWear collection is my top worn pieces of summer exercise. I’ll wear this set for my morning walk to get coffee, or match the skort with a black-time transition button in Japanese tasks. It’s cute and more flatter-I get compliments in this skort every time I wear it.
5. The swimsuit (which doubles as a bodysuit)
A minimalist black one piece swimsuit is a summer staple for me – you can’t beat the classic, sophisticated vibes in this piece that it’s a chic bodysuit. This is another again for pools hanging and swimming at the beach, of course, but I will wear it with a wide hat, and call it a hat. There is good inside the swimsuits it involves the correct amount of compressing and support real flattery.

6. The coat of linen
This dress is MVP in warm travel period. I can throw it in my swimsuit for the beach or wear it with gold jewelry and sandal leather for dinner at a small shore. The soft linen fabric and easy silhouette make it one of those who don’t have beautiful pieces for summer days if you want to feel better.

The goal for me is the thought pack that makes traveling feel calm and more intentionally – so I feel good and focusing on my family time. A small piece. Better quality. A lot of freedom.
