A new window of the universe is about to open. On Monday (June 23), Vera C. Rubin Observatory – a joint project between the US National Science Foundation – US Department of Energy – Release the first images of a Live Broadcast.
The Living Starts at 11 AM EDT (1500 GMT) and be Simulcast on Space.com as well as Obrin OrbistryOfficial official channels. Viewers will look first with beautiful images taken by 3,200-megapixator camera at observatory – the largest digital camera established.
Here’s all you need to know to tune in.
What is Rubin’s observatory?
Located the Highness of Chilean and above the Mountain Cerro Pachón, the observatory of Rubin was a next generation telescope built to examine the entire southern sky. Its main mission, the research of the heritage of space and time (LSTST), can see the observing picture of the sky for 10 years, which makes an unbearable amount of data, making a lot of data in the data.
More 27.6-foot (8.4-meters) mirror and ultra-wide viewing fields for exploring the dynamid of supernova trails in the movement of the above galaxies.
There is a lot of hope that the rubin master data that helps scientists leave mysteries in the dark matter and dark strength as well. So it is called by the American astronomer Vera Rubin, the real queen of the darkest thing that gives the first convincing evidence of the existence of things.

Why it’s important
The first light from a telescope is always a significant time – remember the joint joy of the community of The first image releases from James Webb Space Telescope?
For Rubin observatory, these first images are an important important in commissioning process. Although the observatory is not expected to start the entire science operation for LSTS Mission to a later time, this revelation is the first time the telescope – and we are rooted in all discoveries!
So get with us on Monday morning for this historic debut. Vera C. Rubin Observatory is ready to open its eyes and show us the universe of a new light.
