The United Way of Lake County has a strong track record of making sure that food panties will stay good service to their clients’ great service.
We are reminded of that fact after reading the success of 2025 feed Lake County Food Drive and Fundraiser. UWLC recently distributed Over $ 40,000 in food up to 37 Lake County Food Pantries Pantries in that program, reported by the News-Herald’s Chad Flat Frat Felton.
Overall, the organization contributed more than $ 88,000 worth of food in the community on June 11.
Officials say the campaign raises $ 50,269, known as this value includes $ 25,000 donated to buyer products for the fourth consecutive year of donor incentive.
Funds are also spent on the winter initiative from Jerome T. Osborne and Georgeanne S. Osborne Charitable Trust. The remaining funds will be used to help fill food panties later in the year.
In addition, the campaign has created more than $ 48,000 in food, most of which have been given through the year of the UWLC in the year of food shopping program.
Established last year, on-site pantry allows pantries in place to shop if required throughout the year.

Additional donors from UWLC’s Spring Food Drive with substance repair technologies, which provide 8,532 pounds; Manonius Brothers Construction, which gave 5,500 pounds; and PCC airfoils, donating 5,116 pounds.

The “Feen Lake County is a true community effort,” said the President of UWLC and CEO delion Demito, found 36 percent of Lake County residents struggling with basic needs. “It’s a mirror what can be if local businesses, volunteers and residents come together to take care of each other.
“What makes this effort so every dollar and donations directly affect our neighbors,” he added. “The need for food is not simple – it’s year-round. So we’ve built our site to eat site to help shelves to go to our pants.”
