The last time Falkner saw his friend a week before his passing, at a close dinner dinner Falkner who was hosted.
“I said, ‘Come to my dinner at the House House, it’s good to see you.’ And he took his husband, and we had a good time, “he remembered. “It’s fine.”

Falkner shared that Burrell seemed to enjoy life beyond television pressures and good food. “He looks like a good place,” he said.
“He said he was very happy to be a mother,” Falkner revealed, refers to 20-year-old Simson on Burrell, Javier. “And her husband is sweet.”
Life balancing as a chef personality and TV is not an easy reason, but Falkner believes that his friend finds peace.
“Because a chef and a television personality are two major jobs full-time, but take advantage of your life outside of that life outside of those networks and all things.”

“I know it’s very personal for me what happened, and I can’t believe anyone even younger than me just died,” Falkner said. “Near the house for all of us. The culinary family is like family, so it hurt many of us. We just feel it.”
Anne Burrell and Falkner met each other for many years, with rarely running events and parties, including a memorable moment in Rome in 2021 before Burrell was married.

He also wrote, “And it was nice to see him last week and I felt blessed he came to my dinner and we thanked you better friends.”
