The UAE rankings of 5th Global Competitive Rank; Cabinet Review of $ 1.4tn Success of Trade

UAE has a ranking of the fifth place in a global competition rank, repairing major economies including US, Sweden, and Germany.

Success is checked at a meeting of UAE CabinetLed by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in Qasr Al Wanan in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed confirmed that over 1,830 UAE citizens received housing support in the first half of 2025, with aided aed1.25.4m).

Sheikh Mohammed said: “I signed a meeting at the Qasr Al Watan cabinet in Abu Dhabiwhere we checked the UAE performance in the world’s world’s competition rank. The UAE ranked the salient of the world, along the main countries of the world in economic competition, government efficiency, energy leadership.

“Fourteen years ago, we established a competition center, who combined efforts with key national entities.

“In the same report, the UAE is mainly worldwide in the absence of bureaucratic index, secondary government index, and the fourth global index index.

“This success is a testament of years of steady effort. In my brother’s vision, Mohamed Bin Zayed, our future will continue stronger and stronger.”

The UAE is also the rank of the second global cohesion, flexibility of living laws, and the adaptation of government policy, while dependent on the third tools of science, and health infrastructure.

Review of Trade Trade in UAE

The Cabinet also checks 2024 reports of higher commissions for negotiations in free trade, which confirms 27 complete economic partnerships, which eight becomes strength.

It helps in reaching UAE:

  • AED5.23TN ($ 1.42TN) in general foreign trade (2024)
  • AED440BN ($ 119.9bn) of non-Oil Exports (UP 16.3 percent yoy)
  • AED684.3BN ($ 186.4b) in export of re-export
  • AED113BN ($ 30.8bn) in foreign direct investment in 2023

The UAE Cabinet also examined Emirates Council for the balance of development, led by Bin Huhamed Bin Zayed Al Nated Al Nated Al Nahand Ald Aldid and Deliveess’ Affacs. Points include finished and ongoing Qidfa projects, masfut, and al rams. It includes community spaces, market, ecotourism initiative, and the program “Jothoor” gives the emirati artists.

The Cabinet also evaluates success in the digital identity system, currently used by more than 11m citizens and residents, adapting to 600 million transactions.

New federal initiatives approved by the Cabinet include:

  • National Maritime Navigation Center to guard the ship tracking, sea safety, and environmental protection
  • Change the higher committee for anti-money laundry in terrorism, led by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs
  • A draft law to protect UAE cultural heritage and develop public awareness

The United Arab Emirates Council for climate action was also restructured to accelerate the net zero 2050 Strategy, with the UAE Expanding Protected areas (18 per cent Mainland) and adding Nine New Biodiversity Hotspots, Alongside a plan to plant 100 million mangrove trees by 2030.

Special attention to the fourth edition of making it on the emirates platform, which at 2025 attracts more than 122,000 visitors and accelerated:

  • AED168BN ($ 45.7bn) of potential taking deals for local manufacture
  • AED11BN ($ 3bn) of new industrial project agreements
  • AED40 Billion ($ 10.9 billion) of SME financing over five years

In addition, the Cabinet raises 13 international agreements, including economic and visa deals in Montenegro, Vietnam, Uganda, and New Zealand. Authorization is also agreed for:

  • 36 new mous and agreement, including Hong Kong and the Eurasian Economic Union
  • Establishing UAE Embassies in Togo, Gabon, Cameroon, and Tajikistan, and a Consulate General in Miami, USA
  • UAE’s participation in 13 global events and hosting key summites such as cooperation group in Central Banks
