Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday (July 21) officially resigned his position, discussing medical care and medical advice should be prioritized.
The resignation arrived on the first day of the Monsoon session in Parliament
His resignation, submitted under Article 67 (a) of Indian Constitution effectively.
In his launch letter addressed by President Douti Murmu, Dhankhar declared deep gratitude to his unwavering support and the cordial cordial cordial relationship they shared with his tenure. H
Dhankar also increased his gratitude for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Council of Ministers for regular cooperation and guidance.
“I am very grateful for the precious experiences and views that I have earned as vice president of our great democracy,” he wrote, adding that warmth and trust received from the members of Parliament always remain close to his heart.
Dhankhar also said that a privilege was to witness the unusual growth of India and historical progress. He expressed confidence in the bright future in the country and its increasing influence in the world stage.
“When I left this exploited office, I was filled with pride in the global rising Bharat and strangers,” he said.
Jagdeep Dhankhar served as the 14th Vice President of India and Chairman of Rajya Sabha since August 11, 2022. His term originally ended August 2027.
The launch carries an unexpected end of his term, marked by active Parliamentary engagement and strong support for government policies.
