Chrome for iOS makes it easier to switch between work and personal accounts on Google

Google announces Monday that identifying a new feature that allows iOS users to quickly turn between work and personal accounts on Google in Chrome. Previously, iOS users need to sign out of a Google Account and then log in to another, and repeat this process every time they want to access different accounts.

“People often use their mobile device for two jobs and personal assignments, which they need to sign in and exit different Google accounts,” the company wrote on a blog post. “To simplify this experience while security is getting worse, Chrome on iOS now offers the Seamless Account with data separations for managing accounts.”

If users sign in or move their job to Google Account in Chrome, browse related to their organization to be retained in their other device browsing. Local data and content, including tabs, history, and passwords remain only within managed account browsing experience. Google says it is eligible for two end users and these are admins.

Update comes while Google says many organizations turn off company companies, which means access to employees from their personal phones and computers. Google says progressive account transfer experience and data separation “is better allowing businesses to allow employees to use their device.”

The first time signed in or transferred to a managed account, they can see an onboarding screen explaining account browsing and how to handle their organization with their data.

Organizations will continue to control and decide how to handle the browsing data when a user initially signs or switches to a managed account. Once users switch to their account handling, they are informed that they enter an enabled experience.

Google also announced that it includes more advanced security features to implement departments.

Chrome Enterprise reporting capabilities now extend Android and iOS, which means organizations related to Google Admin Console evaluations, Google Trole, or the pleasure of their wishes. Google says it allows teams to make more informed decisions about general security.
