No, Glastonbury does not show a New England | politics

John Harris paints Glastonbury as a mirror of liberal heart in England, but we are not young (In Glastonbury, I see what the quiet state of England looks like. Why are politicians not listening ?, 13 July). Glastonbury can progressive in the Spirit, but it is also in price, exclusive and higher middle.

Tickets are sold in minutes. The arrival there is worth a fate. That’s not the day-to-day Britain that most people live in. Yes, millions of people in this country take care of justice, climate and compassion. But many are tired of political trust to act for them. They do not look at the head sets. They face hiring hiring and bills they can’t pay.

Glastonbury is a good vibe, but not the voice of quiet most. To find that, those who do not have to look at an area less glorious.

We need a Bob (as shown in Tib Aid and live 8), one who can control the power of silence, full of many; A person to scream loudly to notice, who will teach the divided hatred and hypocrisy of Nigel Farage. A person to discuss the meaning and acts extremely part of the climate change, migration and poverty to the child in this country. Someone who gave us hope.

We can, and do, voting for vegetables, liberal democrats and independent of the council’s new elections, but by dividing the vote we allow back door reform. So where is our Bob? We need you.

John Harris seemed to believe that the people he met with Glastonbury was representative of a New England. No, John, they represent a chosen group attending a finished music party, and there was no representative of England than MCC members of the Lord.
