Protect children, not just animals, from the revelation of lead | Children

I am glad that the government has moved to protect birds and wild animals from the toxic lead exposure by banning bullets bullets (Report, 10 July). This is good if its next step can try to protect the estimated 200,000 UK children with asymptomatic and undiagnosed lead revelation causing lifelong health and cognitive disability. Currently there is a passive surveillance system to miss 99% in cases.

I chatted with a group of 16-year-old students with students after an examination, taught social changes represented. If training to teach in 1960s, we students should shave our beards when going to teaching schools. Don’t we be bad or dangerous, more qualities?
