Dubai Launches a series of icons to determine if the content is made by people, AI or a combination of both.

Dubai launches the classification of ai content
The system is available in areas such as research, publication, writing, design, and more.
Sheikh Hamdan said: “The recognition between human creativity and artificial intelligence becomes a true challenge to the strong development of technology today.
“It asks for a new way to get to know the growing role of intelligent historical clashing machines in what research documents, publications, and content are created”.
He invited global-researchers, writers, publishers, designers, and adopted new classification system and use them responsibly.
All Dubai government entities are also ordered to begin using the framework of their research and knowledge-based outpays.
Developed in the Dubai Future Foundation, the HMC system provides visual icons that represent the level of cooperation between human and creative creation machine.
It develops transparency and help readers, researchers, and better understand the writer’s nature.
There are five basic classifications:
- All people: Done fully to a person without joining the machine
- EVERYTHING IS THEM: The content made by the machine-enhanced (eg, for accuracy or editing)
- The machine is helped: Process of cooperation where the person and machine work together
- The machine drops: The machine has created most of the room, which people check it
- All machines: Completely turned machine without human input
In addition, there are nine functional sub-classifications. The icons also exist to determine the collaboration stage, including:
- Prevent
- Review of literature
- Data collection
- Data analysis
- Translation of data
- Writing
- TRANSLATION
- Visuals
- Design
The icon-based system is flexible and can be used in sectors and formats, including images and videos.
While it does not give specific percentage of the machine paper, it enables to reveal involvement in participation in a time of adding AI technologies, automation technologies.
Dubai’s initiative is a global first and seeks to establish a pattern for responsible revelation and ethical use of intelligent machines to create content and knowledge.
