The Lucid Group in Saudi Arabia has set a new record of the world for the longest journey of an electric car to a charge – consisting of 1,205km (749 miles) across Europe.
The record-breaking drive completed at the end of the week of Lucid Air The Grand Touring, who traveled from St. Moritz, Switzerland in Munich, Germany, and included alpine roads, street roads.
The journey was beaten by the previous record of the world 1,045km, specified in June 2025, by a margin of 160 kilometers.

This most recent success marks the second successful Guinness World Record involving Lucid and Sabanci, a London-based practice with a passion for endurance.
In 2024, Sabanci put records for most countries visited by a charge – crossing nine countries in a Lucid Air Grand Touring.
