A new species in Tiny Arboreal Tarantula of genus Tirthlachena Col Koch, 1850 (Aranaposidae) from the State of Bahia, Brazil
Abstract
The genus Typhochlaena CL Koch, 1850 contains five species of small arboreal thraphosids found in Brazil. Some species have a color pattern of eye that make them a thing that the pet’s market desires, and the two species are attached to Brazil’s red Prazilian. The typechlaena is recovered as a sister group of remaining avicululesiines of phylogenetic analysis, because the genus remains several plange-legal. Therefore, it is important to obtain information about their species about distribution, behavior and biology to help protect their population and species. Here, we described Tyhochlaena Chaptadensis Sp. Nov., from Bahia’s Brazilian state, in the Chapta Diamantina region. New species are closely related to T. Curumim Bertani, 2012 but can be identified through the form of male palpal bulbs, geographic distribution.
