Two kids from a Texas camp telling their unimaginable stories about how they can affect the intense flooding area … and, one of them that needs to swim in danger to survive.
Local ABC affiliate Ksat In San Antonio communicates Half of the piers and Ruffin Boyett – Two kids at the camp la junta, one of the camps affected The harmful flooding. They say the water begins to fill their cabins, and children should climb the rafters to stay dry.
While Ruffin says he and the people of his cabin finally can just walk once it is safe, the kids – to see him and his cabin are more difficult to escape.
Hearing for yourself … Piers said, “We have beds in our cabin, and (the water) goes to the upper bunk. We have a choice in our cabins.”
Piers and Ruffin revealed that they rushed to a cabin at a higher area where flood waters could not reach them … and, they waited there for hours until they were driven by buses.
As you know … Texas floods kill at least 32 – and more than 20 girls from Camp Mystic near Hunt, TX has never been.
