This boy lied to me. I can say from the way he heads into his chair, fluffing and then streact his shaggy hair. I can say from the rehears of sentences he feeds, his voice is crazy and monotone. “I’m a white man,” he said. “I have a lot of advantages in the world.”
Usually, I’m glad to be glad he recognizes his privilege. It is rare for a teenager to admit that they are systematically benefited. But his eyes were flying, and he examined his phone time. I know he doesn’t tell me the truth unless I’m allowing him.
So I stopped recording I made and told, told him I didn’t try to cancel him for racist or sexist opinions. I just want to hear his sight. And when I started the memo on my phone, I talked to a different person. He knows what he wants to say; She never thinks i want to hear it. All taken is permission to atonement of his progressive facade. It doesn’t surprise me because I know he’s not alone.
art survey Done in the spring of 2025 appears that only 7% of men aged 18-29 says that variation, equity programs and entains are conforming to programs. It aligned the polling found 54% to men at the same age voted for President Trump. Trump’s approval figures PERPETUAL Among the young people, but liberalism lost the boys my age of the ideology of the Hope – that was exactly what I heard from my classmate when my facade fell.
I know that developing heads of talking like Charlie Kirk and Joe Roagan flooded social media fed by teenage men and young men. I want to see if it is true even with myself without a left-leaning high school in New York City. In the middle of April, I came out of interviewing boys in my life. I need to know if the boys I take care of, that I have hope, subscribing to the digital misogyny on the internet.
I doubt the young men, especially white and straight, moving toward the right because they felt unwanted to nothing. The fear “cancel” is written by many teenagers – specifically to boys – who attend liberal schools since the order of life threatening as a threat to life. It is a small step from apprehension of cancellation of hatred culture “wokism.”
To start an interview, I opened my laptop and pulled out four videos: two Joe Rogan from his podcast, the first talk about open boundaries and immigration and transgender. One of Andrew Tate is running about wokism injuries and one of Charlie Kirk arguing about systemic racism with a black college student. In between clips, I asked my man classmates why they thought it was appealing or convincing young men.
The first response I got was about aesthetics. “You can see in the video he built,” said a senior, which should be cram in the interview before a baseball game. “Athletes are some of the largest role model for teenage boys.” Reference to appearance raises its head when a Sophomore describes Rogan as “more masculine.” Interviewee, sport in a mullet and a white tank tank tops, meant that “a bald man with a deep voice” more interesting in “one year old.”
Other recurring themes so these high school boys saw the strong rhetoric and numbness they saw on my computer screen. Roagan’s views of immigration “connects this idea attacked,” as a junior boy. White men “under siege,” he added. Is it true? I asked. It doesn’t matter, he replied: Severe rhetoric like that “makes all kinds of simple and clarity.”
It was only when I asked these boys if they were liberal that I had any hints that they didn’t support men from videos. Almost all of the teenagers tell me that they are liberal, and however they see the appeal of spawning.
Some of us are unable to stand. This half of the population should feel at home before. Democrats should think about welcoming young white men who disagree with every progressive policy, which makes sure they are still offered to a seat on the table to help a fair.
The divisive appeal from the other side proves powerful. “From what I saw,” One of my classmates said to me, the liberals “saying all this (negative) about the young white men and Trump not. The President of a group that exceeds him: The Liberals who felt that the liberals made them an enemy.
The democratic party is not true antiwhite or antimale, of course, but it is not enough to say that. Democrats should explain that they accept the support of people who may disagree with every aspect of the left agenda. RelateTability is also important: leaders should go where young and want. “Keeping podcasts can help,” said a junior boy when asked what the Democrats could do to reach young audiences. “They have to take views.”
These classmates in me are a few years away from voting. It is their responsibility to fight for a healthy discourse, for the spaces outside the Instagram and to talk about politics. Don’t think of misunderstanding the enemy of unity, think about it the necessary step. Request a space from nothing. There is a job to do – very much work. But I have faith that my peers vote for the future with their minds and sisters. I just hope I’m not good to think of that.
