Balkans are a recognized biodiversity hotspot. However, for many parts of this region, knowledge about variation in many taxa is limited. This is true for Kosovo spiders, where increasing efforts to prevent real variation. Here, based on traditional morphological and DNA barcoding data, we presented first records in Nemesiidae Simon, 1889 from Kosovo, including Brachythele Kosovario Geci & Sherwood Sp. NOV. AND NEMESIA DUKAGJINICA GECI & SHERWOOD SP. NOV.
