Microsoft Actenticator is sunset The ability of this storage of your passwords. This month, the service has stopped allowing users to add or import new passwords. Beginning July 2025, users are no longer available in Autofill with authenticator, and August 2025, passwords are no longer available. The payment information stored in the verifier will be taken after July, and after next month, all non-safe passwords will be taken. PASKOKEY can still be supported in the verifier.
People who want to stay within Microsoft Ecosystem have the option to use access to their saved passwords when the browser is used. But if you are not interested in the edge, that means that the provider users may want to prevent their choices for a separate password manager. Fortunately, there are many good choices for without being tied to a particular hardware provider.
