Editor letters: Why did the billionaire in America have something about our national debt?

In the editor: I agree with the provider of the IVO Welch Property (“No one can understand the trillions. Here’s how to make federal expenditure and debt,” June 26). Here’s a novel idea: Why do all the billionaire in the US take a big jump to believe in their country and contribute their wealth to pay the national debt? They will be judged as heroes. What else does a billionaire like?

In the editor: Welch writes that raising taxes can slowly grow. but In historyThere is no correlation between GDP tax rates and growth.

Tax cuts are always a big fat given to the rich publicly paid, so the rich money is taken and some of us get the debt. That debt is then used against us as an excuse to cut things such as Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. Debt used as an intermediary between tax cuts and cuts of cuts, making it complex without thinking of it. Tax cuts are class wars of riches against general public.
