The decision was made by the registration committee and licensing practice of engineering consulting and objectives to protect the property owners and emirate developers.
The action is a part of the wider role of municipal regulation, which includes regular field inspecting to ensure that engineering consultants follow legal and professional standards.

In parallel, the municipality of Dubai announces an ambitious plan of investigation system used to assess contracting companies and the new behavior at the beginning of 2026.
