Mesomexovis Gonzalez-Santillan & Phrendinni, 2013 is a genus Scorpion of Vaejavidae Family consisting of seven species, all Mexican endemic. The present study describes a new species from Estación de Biología Chamela, Jalisco, related to M. Occidentionalit (Hoffmann, 1931), M. Athenango (Francke & Gonzalez-Santillan, 2006), and M. subcristatus (Pocoalck, 1898). Mesomexovis ABOUT Fountain. noVeMber different from these species in many parts. First, Carinae on the pedipalp chelae vestigial. Second, the ventral lateral carinae in the metasomal is a microstructural separation between subex and the basal carina at the disabled hemispermatopore area defined for the first time.
