Google launches a new experimental app called DOPPL using AI to imagine what different outfits, the company look like Office has partnered on Thursday. The app is available to ios and Android in the US
Doppl is designed to allow you to try outfits in a digital version of yourself. The app works first to upload you with a full-body photo yourself. From there, you can use photos or screenshots in different outfits to almost try it. These images can be a picture of a shirt you see in a thrift store or a friend, or even a screenshot of a dress you see while scrolling into social media.
Once you choose a shirt you want to imagine, Doppl will create an image in a virtual version of yourself wearing clothes. Doppl can also get these static images and move them to AI videos to get a better meaning of how true life is looking at you.
You can save your favorite look and browse all your other virtual try-ons. In addition, you can also share your appearance with others.
Tech giant says the new app has built Recently launched on Google Shopping Capabilities that allow you to try out clothes nearby. By launching the functionality of a standalone app, Google can easily access while allowing people to explore their style in a fun manner, the company believes. It can also help Google collect as many data how these apps can work, to help future efforts in space.
While Google offers Virtual Test TechnologyThe first parts focus on showing things in different types of models of models. In Doppl, the company allows you to try out the clothes in an animated version of your own body.
“We hope Doppl can help you to explore your style in new and exciting ways,” Google says in a blog post. “As an experiment with Google Labs, Doppl is in its first few days and may not always get things done.
Given that DOPPL is an experimental launch, does not know when Google plans to bring the app to additional regions.
