The Ministry of Finance uses reserves and is tired of each final possibility, before the budget is opened to fund the military campaign against Iran. Today, the ministry puts the Solonset financial committee a request to be transferred to the Ministry of Defense NIS 3 billion in budget to cover unexpected defense spending. In addition request, the Ministry of Finance is asking for a NIS 700 million add to the defense budget, which will be spent on the budgets of other ministers.

The larger amount, 3 billion, intended for IDF spending on Manpower, which progressed before Iranic operation. It has become clear in last month this reserve should be used, if the government approves record drafting of 450,000 reservists to cover the Gaza Strip fighting. Government initially allocated 10 billion in this reserve, but most of this used long to fill the budget holes.
As for further NIS 700 million, its purpose is classified by the Ministry of Finance request, and it will be transferred to the “Security Cost” item. Every government ministry share this item in proportion to the part of the whole budget.
It is obvious that the addition of 3.7 billion in defense budget cannot meet demands. Unofficial sources puts the cost of Iran’s operations in NIS 1 billion daily, and even before the expenditure of defense development of 20 billion.
The Ministry of Finance seeks to open the budget and increases the expenditure limit, but that is a long-term party party, including a day-to-day party, and broad-day care of the congratulations Committee. Until the process of processing, budget transfers are meant to provide some breathing room to arrange military campaign.
