Wind air closures saw planes including Etihad, Flydubai, Air Arabia and Emirates suspended travel.

Etihad suspended some UAE flights
Etihad shares a travel update with details of additional flight suspensions.
In a statement on its websiteThe UAE National Carrier Carrier said: “Flights between Abu Dhabi (Auh) and Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) canceled until June 22.
“Estihad continues to experience the destruction of many services due to airspace closure and the continuous state of the region.
“In addition, Etihad continues to change several trips to tight airspaces in the Middle East parts. The Etihad is closest update to related authorities.
“It remains an emerging situation, and some destruction and delay can be expected in the coming days.
“Contact travelers to check the latest flight status of Etihad.com, through the mobile app, or by contacting Etihad Airways Center at +971 600 566 (UAE).
“Visitors who shifted Abu Dhabi to connect with canceled flights will not be accepted for traveling from their resources. Faced guests are assisted by alternative travel arrangements.
“The salvation of our guests and crew remains the first priority, and we regret any reason why”.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport Passengers are advised to look forward to the destruction until Friday, June 20.
In a statement, the airport says: “Flight services are slowly restored, however some disruptions are expected to continue until Friday, 20 June.
“Passengers advise to continue to check their planes for the latest information before traveling to the airport. We appreciate your patience and understanding”.
Air Arabia suspended some UAE flights
Air Arabia says it will suspend trips to different locations until until June 30.
To a Travel warn It says: “Because of the current conditions of the meantime and airspace, Air Arabia has temporarily suspended all trips to and from the following countries, as follows:
- Iran: To and including Monday, June 30, 2025
- Iraq: Up and including Monday, June 30, 2025
- Jordan: To and including Friday, June 20, 2025
- Russia: Up and including Friday, June 20, 2025
- Lebanon: To and including Tuesday, June 17, 2025
“Many other flights have experienced delays or rerouting as a result.
“Passengers connecting Sharjah or Abu Dhabi with final destinations in any of the above flights will not be accepted for traveling to their point to further update.”
Flydubai suspended some UAE flights
Dubai flydubai issued an updated travel advisory with suspension timetables on Monday.
In a statement on its websiteThe carrier said: “Because of the current conditions and closings of some airspace aisles, Flydubai has been temporarily suspended by flights to and from the following countries and airports:
- Until June 16: Jordan, Lebanon
- Until June 17: Minsk, St. Petersburg
- Until June 20: Iran, Iraq, Israel, Syria
“Passengers connecting Dubai with final destinations in any of the above countries or airports are not accepted for their point of point at their point of view to further notice.
“Passengers to leave from Dubai International Airport (DXB) are encouraged to check their flydubai.com flight status for other updates. Please note that other updates can be explained in delays or reruting.
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused and valued your understanding. The flydubai continues to monitor facilities, the safety of our passengers, crew, and operations remain our first priority”.
Meanwhile, Dubai airports share a social media travel warning. It says: “Update: Due to the new airspace closure, flights operate from #DXB and #DWC – Al International International can experience disruptions.
“Please check your plane for the most recent flight status before going to the airport”.

Emirates suspends some UAE flights
Emirates’ flight suspensions continue, with Jordan, Lebanon, Iran and Iraq journeys left in place.
The newest UAE carrier travel update said: “Due to the state of the region, the Emirates are temporarily suspended all trips to:
- Jordan (Amman) and Lebanon), to and including Sunday, June 22
- Iran (Tehran) and Iraq (Baghdad and Basra), to and including Monday, June 30
“Customers connecting Dubai with final destinations in Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon; and customers who do not accept destinations at their point of their point of view”.
Added to the plane that customers affected by flight cancellations should contact their travel agency for repeat. Customers to leave or arrive at Dubai International Airport are advised to check their flying status of Emirates.com for the latest information.
Emirates said: “We apologize for any inconvenience that our customers caused. We continued to care for monitoring. The safety of our passengers, employees and surgery always our first priority”.
