Today, Patreon took 8% cut or 12% cut from creators, depending on their selected tier – even if 8% plan is more popular.
The new price plan in turn offers a universal tier, which continues 10% of the Creator’s income.
The existing Patite Creators do not have to worry – this price increase only affects creators who publishes a New Patreon page on August 4, 2025.
“Since our update on our prices six years ago, Patreon has still been charged with media, community, and discovery,” the company wrote on a blog post.
The price increase is never more popular notifications to be made, but the patriot has a point – it adds a steady parts in the past few years. This includes Native Video Hosting,, livefree members, Selling Digital Goodsand Gift Subscriptions.
However, if you consider setting up an account with patreon … you may want to get that in the next few weeks and lock 8% rate.
