The UAE Airlines raises flight suspensions to and from destinations around the region as tensions between Israel and Iran will increase. View the latest travelout update from Emirates, Etihad Airways, Flydubai and Air Arabia.
Emirates suspends some UAE flights
In a statement, Emirates said: “Due to the state of the region, the Emirates are temporarily suspended all trips to:
- Jordan (Amman) and Lebanon), to and including Sunday, June 22
- Iran (Tehran) and Iraq (Baghdad and Basra), to and including Monday, June 30
“Customers connecting Dubai with final destinations in Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon; and customers who do not accept destinations at their point of their point of view”.
Added to the plane that customers affected by flight cancellations should contact their travel agency for repeat. Customers to leave or arrive at Dubai International Airport are advised to check their flying status of Emirates.com for the latest information.
Emirates said: “We apologize for any inconvenience that our customers caused. We continued to care for monitoring. The safety of our passengers, employees and surgery always our first priority”.
Etihad suspended some UAE flights
Etihad said “continued to experience the destruction of many services due to airspace closure and the continued state of the region”.
In a statement, Etihad said: “Flights between Abu Dhabi (Auh) and Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) remained canceled on June 15 and June 16.
“Flights between Abu Dhabi (Auh) and Amman, Jordan (Amm) EY 591/592, and auh) guests with books at this stage.
“In addition, Etihad continues to change many trips to restricted airspaces in the Middle East parts. The Etihad monitor the related authorities”.
Etihad added that visitors moved to Abu Dhabi to connect to meals in flights not accepted for traveling from their origin.
The National Carrier said: “It remains an emerging situation, and some destruction and delay can be expected in the coming days. The affected visitors are helped by alternative travel arrangements.
“The salvation of our guests and crew remains the first priority, and we regret any reason why”.
Flydubai suspended some UAE flights
Important destruction and continuous suspensions of UAE flights are also announced at Flydubai.
Due to the current state and closure of some airspace aisles, the flydubai temporarily suspended flights to and from the following countries and airports:
- Until June 16: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria
- Until June 17: Minsk, St. Petersburg
- Until June 20: Iran, Iraq, Israel
In a statement, Flydubai said: “Passengers connecting Dubai with final destinations in any of the above countries or airports are not accepted for traveling to their origin to further notice.
“Passengers affected by cancellations are advised to check the revelation options on our website to book our website to receive time notice.
“Passengers to leave from Dubai International Airport (DXB) are encouraged to check their flydubai.com flight status for other updates. Please note that other updates can be explained in delays or reruting.
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciated your understanding. Flydubai continued to monitor the situation, in the crew, and operation left our highest priority”

Dubai airports say: “Some trips to DXB and DWC canceled or delayed due to aAvspace closures in parts of the segments of scheduled journeys”.
The Zayed International International Airport in Abu Dhabi said: “Due to the continuing airspace closure, Zayed International airport flights – including delays – Cancellations – Expected to continue on Sunday, June 15 and Monday, June 16.
“Passengers advise to check their planes for the latest travel information before going to the airport. We appreciate your patience and understanding”.
