Dubai government announced new work rules for employees.
Flexible hours of operating and four-day weeks apply to some employees all over summer as a part of an initiative to develop work balance.

the DBHR Says: “Aim to improve work-life balance for government employees, the initiative will run from July 1 through September 12, 2025 and implemented on each entrance.
Government department highlighted that the enforcement of the initiative aligns official five-day working hours and employees divided into two groups:
- The first group would work eight hours from Monday to Thursday and enjoy Friday as a perfect holiday
- The second group will work seven hours from Monday to Thursday and 4.5 hours on Friday
