The Ministry of Civil Aviation holds a significant meeting today at 10:30 am to review the safety protocols of Air India in AI-171 crashes in Ahmedabad. The session to attend senior officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other key concerns.
This high level of meeting is a wider investigation led by new Multi-Decondlinary, which is formed to check the cause of the Air India Dreamliner Trageler. The fatal incident gained hundreds of lives and increased urgent safety concerns in Indian skies.
Committee to Know Secretary at Union Home
The investigation panel will be told to the Secretary of Union Home and includes leading officials from central and state governments. Famous committee members include:
- Secretary, Civil Aviation ministry
- Additional / joint secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs
- Representatives from Gujarat’s Home Department and State Disaster Resign Authority Authority
- Ahmedabad Police Commissioner
- DG, Inspection and Security, Indian Air Force
- DG, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAs)
- DG, DIVERORATORN CHANGE OF CIVIL AVIATE (DGCA)
- Special Director, Intelligence Bureau
- Director, Directorate of Forensic Science Service
- Aviation experts, legal counselors, and accidental investigators can also be included as necessary.
Investigation scope
The Committee will conduct a thorough examination, checking:
- Flying and cockpit shepherds
- Aircraft care logs
- Air traffic control (ATC) recordings
- Witness testimony
They will also review the crash area, interviews with key staff including crew and atc staff, especially if foreign manufacturers or foreign manufacturers or foreigners involved.
Report for three months
The panel is expected to submit a comprehensive report for three months, with recommendations for reviewing and reinforcing standard methods (patterns) to prevent such incidents in the future.
