Google Thursday announced an update to Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview model that company claim is better with some programming tasks.
The company calls it an “Updated Preview,” Build upgrade to Gemini 2.5 Pro Google announced around a month ago. Google says the model works in general use in a “couple weeks” and can now be used to start AI AI platforms and Vertex AI and the Geminix app.
“(Gemini 2.5 Pro) continues to participate in coding, leading to difficult coding benchmarks,” Google WRITES to a blog post. “It also shows the top-tier performance (of) challenging benchmarks that evaluate mathematics in a model, knowledge, knowledge, and competence of experience, and reason.”
So what’s new? Google says this is talking to feedback from the past 2.5 Pro to release, improves the style and structure of the model. Currently 2.5 Pro can be “more creative with better formatted answers,” claim Google.
