Lid declares Rs 12 Last Dividend after FY25’s stability, sets the recording date

LIFE INSURANCE CORPORATION IN INDIA (Creep) Recommended a final dividend of Rs 12 per equity share for financial year 2024-25. The division is subject to the consent of shareholders in the future annual overall meeting (AGM).

The company board is also fixed on July 25 as the recording date to identify the eligibility of shareholders for the proposed division exchange. Investors holding lid parts as the date record may be eligible to receive the post-agm approval of dividy.

The Dividend’s notice follows a strong financial performance by Lid for the year ending March 2025. The company posts tax on Rs 48,151 crore from Rs 40,38% of FY24. The overall premium income standing at Rs 4,88,148 crore, from Rs 4,75,070 crore last year.

The biggest insurer of life in India, continues to dominate the market with a 57% market share based on the first year premium income (FYPI). For the individual part of the insurance, its market is standing at 37%, and for group insurance, it is 71%.

The board also announced that LIC raises Rs 56,190 crore as bonuses to traders for FY25, further emphasizing the strong policy of participating in it. Insurer-related value of Rs 7.76 Lakh crore, of 6.81 percent from last year, while assets under supervision increases Rs 54.5 lakh crore, showing a 6% increase.


Another famous milestone for LIC this year has gained guinness world record for “most of the insurance policies in the company’s 20,011. The fourth quarter has also been reported to a 38% crore of the year ago.
