The Union Reviewed Making Eight DPSUS at the CMDS meeting

The Defense Minister Pajnath Singh on Monday, May 26, created a review meeting with CMDs in the Eight Defense Sector of Defense, New Delhi. At the meeting, the Singh praised the role of the Defense industry, including DPSus, with developing platforms and technologies showing the readiness of the armed Indian forces in the Indian operation. He emphasized that the government, led by Prime Minister Modi, remains commitment to strengthen the basis of the defense industry and development of DPSUS competition.

In view of the increasing geopolitical situation and new developments, the Singh directs DPSus to the latest research technologies and development of developing fields of modern war, according to official release.

During the meeting, Secretary (defense (defense) Sanjeev Kumar presented DPSU growth statistics promoting their steady performance. The amount of production is prepared to be more than Rs 1,40,000 crore for PANION YEAR 2024-25, from about 78 percent will contribute to DPSUS.

The Defense Minister values ​​the increase in DPSUS production value, however, encouraged them to focus on proper delivery of the products of the armed forces. He emphasized the DPSUS role in increasing exports and ordered them to increase their study of better selling their products.

Rajnath Singh also thanked Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (eg Maharatna’s status and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilderers (MDL) to obtain navratna status.
